ALBANY — Gov. DavidPaterson declared a state of emergency, saying a recent rise in swine flu cases has created a "disaster" and that certain provisions of state law needed to be set aside to get people vaccinated as quickly as possible.
I envision a similar article explaining the massive amount of liturgical abuse in the Diocese of Rochester:

We laugh, but something tells me we would find very similar articles in the Catholic Courier if we looked.

The news of the potential return of thousands of Anglicans to the Church is exciting. Yet there is no mention of this in the courier. And when 2 Anglican bishops returned to the CHurch, there was also no mention of the=is.
HMMM. It appears the Courier is the mouthpiece of an ardently pro homosexual bishop . This is the last bit of news the DOR wants disseminated so please do this yourselves.
Maybe the Anglican story didn't appear in the Courier because it was past deadline for it. Could be.
I anxiously await the next issue.

WASHINGTON (CNS) -- Parishioners at Our Lady of the Atonement in San Antonio, the largest Anglican-use Catholic parish in the U.S., have plenty to talk about these days.
"Everyone is excited, but they have lots of questions," said the pastor, Father Christopher Phillips, about the Vatican's Oct. 20 announcement of a special structure for Anglicans who want to be in full communion with the Catholic Church.
Father Phillips -- once an Episcopal priest and now a Catholic priest who founded Our Lady of the Atonement 26 years ago -- doesn't have detailed answers yet for the parish's 500 families. He said more details will be known once the pope's apostolic constitution and norms for implementing it are revised and published, which was to take a few weeks. ...
