From 1995 to 2005, the Diocese of Rochester lost over 45% of its priests, a figure unmatched virtually anywhere in the United States. Indeed, priests aren't even priests in Rochester; they are called "sacramental ministers." While Mass attendance stabilized or increased in most parts of the Church in America last decade, it is in free-fall in Rochester, dropping almost 25% since 2002. They are more interested in promoting their ideological adgenda than caring for the sould that they were entrusted with and they don't seem to care about it one bit.
In the current Good Shepherd bulliten, the priest is referred to as "Assisting Priest" He used to be a "Sacremental Minister", but apparently not any more.
...And Nancy DeRycke's title has changed from "Pastoral Administrator" to "Pastoral Leader"
