A DoR priest --can anybody identify him?
Can you name the former diocesan priest that is now with the Fathers of Mercy in Kentucky? He is in the top row, third from the left?

Was he the one who left after the gay Mass at the Cathedral?

Yes sirree, Bob (or Dr. K). That so called Sister Margie Henninger did him in. Can you name him?

This diocese has a lot of dirty laundry.
Is it Fr. Frank Fusare?
Rob is right. Yes, it's Father Fusare from Elmira. Did you know him? He is as solid and orthodox as they come. He attended Christendom College.
What was the whole story behind his departure? Did he have confrontations with Bishop Clark?
I'm not sure of all the nuances of his departure. But after ordination, the diocese kept him at the cathedral so they could "keep an eye on him." Father Fusare is a very orthodox priest and a good preacher too. At the same time Sister Margie Henninger (then a Sister of St. Joseph; she has since left the order) was keeping an eye (and ear) out for Father Fusare.
Apparently one sermon Father gave on homosexuality put Sister M over the top and she bitched, gripped, whined and complained to the Bishop. After that part, I'm not sure exactly what happened. But Father Fusare was put on the "defecation roster". He got excardinated out of Rochester and incardinated into the Fathers of Mercy, where he is happy and flourishing.

Fr. Lou Caparrichio(sp?)is also in the Fathers of Mercy and is originally from Elmira as well. He was never a DOR priest.

Yes, that's right about Father Caparichio. He's from Elmira too.

I'm willing to bet that Fr. Frank's participation in this project isn't helping his popularity in some quarters of DOR.
