ICKSP claims local man
One of our local Rochester "boys" is with the Institute of Christ the King. He wishes to remain anonymous. The point is this: the Holy Spirit is still very much alive and at work inspiring vocations to the Catholic priesthood. A vast number of young men are inspired to join orders that are faithful to the Holy Father and the Magisterium, men who love Our Blessed Lady and spend time in front of the Most Blessed Sacrament praying for other vocations to the holy priesthood, our nation and our Church.

To Bishop Clark, From His Humble Servants:
"Prince of degredations, bought and sold,
These verses, written in your crumbling sty,
Proclaim the faith that I have held and hold,
And publish that in which I mean to die."

Proclaim the faith that I have held and hold,
And publish that in which I mean to die."

In a related matter, a survey of 2009 ordinands conducted by CARA on behalf of the USCCB states:
"About one in six diocesan ordinands (17 percent) report that they lived in the diocese or eparchy for which they will be ordained less than a year before they entered the seminary. In fact, 8 percent reported they did not live in the diocese or eparchy at all before they entered the seminary."
A significant number of diocesan vocations seem to be leaving their home dioceses to seek ordination elsewhere.
Can't blame the Rochester ones for that one.
