St. Monica's Re-Opening Liturgies Will Be This April

From the most recent St. Monica bulletin:
"Save the Dates for a Grand Celebration

Saturday, April 10 and Sunday April 11 are set for a celebration unlike any we have had before. We are celebrating “Us” as a parish family in our newly renovated Church building. In the planning stages are music, dance, special guests, and great conversation. Stay tuned for more information as details are ironed out. If you would like to volunteer to help with this “grand celebration”, please see one of the Welcome Committee members: Roxie Sinkler, Roslyn Karaban, Sandy Chamberlain, Jonathan and Shauna Walczak, Gail Huddleston, Foster Rogers or Debbie Diederich."
Ok, but the Mass is about worshiping God, not celebrating "Us."

It's good to hear that they'll be using their church building once again, instead of worshiping in hotels and Protestant churches. I'm curious to see how these renovations will turn out. You may remember that Cleansing Fire posted the proposed design last summer. We'll soon see the fruits of their labors. Hopefully they will be good.

Translucent screen? Huh?

To Bishop Clark, From His Humble Servants:

"Prince of degredations, bought and sold,
These verses, written in your crumbling sty,
Proclaim the faith that I have held and hold,
And publish that in which I mean to die."
