A very good friend of mine who knows about what's going on in the local diocese said St. Francis Xavier Church on Bay Street has been sold to the Moslems. Any body else hear this? Wasn't Saint Francis a missionary to convert people to Christ.

Local Church Sold to Moslems?
A very good friend of mine who knows about what's going on in the local diocese said St. Francis Xavier Church on Bay Street has been sold to the Moslems. Any body else hear this? Wasn't Saint Francis a missionary to convert people to Christ.

If this is true, it is absolutely contemptible. I'm not saying I'm against other religions, but to have a Catholic church being used a mosque, where prayers removing divinity from Our Lord will be said, is absolutely abominable.
Maybe someone from Our Lady of the Americas can clue us in.
Muslims have been buying up closed catholic churches in many areas.
The Muslims bought the old Polish National Cathedral in Buffalo. A very elegant and magnificent structure on top of which stands now a Crescent. They bought another one, but I can't remember the name of it.
Just wait until Sharia law hits this country full force.
They will probably make a 7-11 store out of it.
