I can envision flames arising from Sr. Joan's chair, burning all who step near it.

Did she bring the chair from home?
Sr. Joan must be very happy that the choir is off for the summer. She won't have to suffer through all that beautiful music for a couple of months.
What does the famous actress, "Sister" Joan Sobala, have to say now?
She will be a female until the day she dies and will never become a Catholic Priest.
Note to "Sister" Joan Sobala: You failed to attract young, Catholic women to your own religious congregation and now you want to screw up the priesthood?
You should go to Hollywood, the walk will do you good.
Why is her chair not atop a 3 foot tall pedestal?
Sr. Joan Sobala and her lot should sit in the pews with the congregation. She has not received Holy Orders to be seated within the sanctuary. She is also not serving the altar. There is no reason for her to be there.
Is this the chair where the chickens come to roost?

Reminds me of words spoken by Sr. Joan. No, not Sr. Joan Sobala, but Sr. Joan Cawley, the Pastoral Administrator currently assigned to Church of the Resurrection:
"The priest is the one chosen from the community by virtue of Holy Orders to preside at the Eucharist. All of us in the assembly are joined with one another by our baptism and that is also why I choose to sit in the assembly." (bulletin dated 11/9/08)
and
"I mentioned that I choose not to sit in the sanctuary since I share baptism with all of you and that my place is among you." (bulletin dated 2/22/09)
Now if only the other Sr. Joan and her cohorts would see things as Sr. Joan Cawley does. The Pastoral Administrator is not a priest and is not assisting at the altar, so he/she should sit among the rest of the congregation.
